At the August 2026 MacArthur Society Commanders Call, guest speaker Colonel Bill Prince, US Army retired, USMA 1970, and retired CIA Operations Officer, presented on the growing national security domestic threat posed by the alliance between radical leftists and Islamists. Following his powerful presentation, there was a robust discussion among attendees about the true nature of this threat.

About the speaker:

Colonel Bill Prince, US Army (Ret), received his commission in the Infantry from West Point, Class of 1970. He served in Vietnam with both Ranger and Special Forces units.

In 1978, Bill resigned his Regular Army commission to accept a position as an Operations Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency. He subsequently received one of the CIA’s highest awards for valor for extraordinary heroism in the face of hostile, armed opposition. He maintained a commission in the Army Reserve branch transferring to Special Forces.

Bill’s experience in hostile areas includes: El Salvador, Somalia, Haiti, Bosnia, Colombia and Pakistan with 11 deployments between Afghanistan and Iraq.

He holds a Masters Degree from Harvard University with a focus on international relations. Previously, he served as the President of the MacArthur Society and has written many articles on our website.
