Meaghan Mobbs Reappointed to West Point Board of Visitors

(Press Release) Independent Women’s Forum recognizes the achievements of Meaghan Mobbs, director of Independent Women’s Center for America Safety and Security, celebrating her reappointment by President Donald Trump to the Board of Visitors for West Point, the nation’s oldest military academy.

President Donald Trump revealed his appointments through Truth Social on Monday, celebrating the individuals and declaring that “They will make our country proud!”

Meaghan Mobbs graduated from West Point in 2008 and served in Afghanistan. As a former paratrooper and combat veteran, she continues to advocate for service members through her board memberships and volunteer activities.

She has testified before congress on national security issues and has advised business leaders and government officials across sectors on defense, national security, and public safety.

Meaghan Mobbs, Director of Independent Women’s Center for American Safety and Security, said:

“It is an honor to be reappointed to the West Point Board of Visitors, having previously had the privilege of serving in this role. I am grateful to the President for his continued trust and confidence in me.

West Point shaped my leadership, values, and dedication to service, and its mission remains as vital as ever: to develop leaders of character who are prepared to fight, lead, and win our nation’s wars.

I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members to ensure cadets receive the best possible education, training, and resources to uphold the Academy’s storied legacy of excellence and service to the nation.”

Independent Women’s Center for American Safety and Security has been at the forefront of the movement to restore American leadership by peace-through-strength foreign policy and secure borders:
